Program Management is responsible for the oversight of the planning, execution, and success of the program. Typical duties include program planning and development, program evaluation, policy development and analysis, and coordination of resources.

Position Summary

The Associate General Coordinator within Program Management is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of university programs to support strategic initiatives. This position involves working alongside senior program management staff to ensure that programs are planned and developed in line with institutional goals. The coordinator plays a key role in supporting the program lifecycle, from initial development to evaluation, and ensuring that resources are managed effectively to achieve program objectives. In this entry-level role, the coordinator contributes to program planning and helps with coordinating resources and stakeholders across departments. They assist in gathering data, conducting program evaluations, and supporting the development of policies and procedures that ensure smooth program execution. The Associate General Coordinator also helps maintain communication between teams and tracks program progress to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met. While they may work under the direction of senior staff, they are expected to handle specific program-related tasks with increasing independence as they gain experience. As an individual contributor at the entry level, the Associate General Coordinator is expected to develop their program management skills while providing support for program success. They may coordinate activities, monitor the status of ongoing projects, and participate in evaluating outcomes to contribute to continuous improvement. This role requires foundational program management knowledge and offers opportunities for professional growth and learning within the university’s broader program management structure.
