Enrollment Services is responsible for student recruiting programs, pre-application and pre-admission, and related processes at the university. These roles develop, implement, and administer plans, programs, and events for general and targeted student recruitment in support of organizational goals.

Individual contributors may: Coordinate, influence, or review the work of others. Be the authority on a given program or process. Lead teams. A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Academic Coordinator within Enrollment Services plays a key role in supporting the recruitment and pre-admission processes for prospective students. This position involves coordinating and executing recruitment initiatives, programs, and events designed to attract a diverse and qualified student body. The Academic Coordinator works closely with other Enrollment Services team members to develop and implement strategies that effectively promote the university to target student populations. This includes managing communication with prospective students, providing information about the application process, and assisting with admissions-related events to enhance student engagement and enrollment efforts. As an intermediate-level individual contributor, the Academic Coordinator focuses on ensuring smooth operations for recruitment activities and processes. The role involves managing specific recruitment projects, ensuring their alignment with university goals, and assisting with program development. The Academic Coordinator may also be responsible for advising prospective students on the requirements and procedures related to the application process, offering guidance on academic programs, and providing insights into academic opportunities at the university. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate various aspects of recruitment efforts while ensuring that prospective students receive the necessary support to navigate the admissions process. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Academic Coordinator collaborates with other departments within Student Services, including academic advising and career services, to ensure a seamless transition for prospective students. This role also involves maintaining and updating recruitment materials, tracking student engagement, and analyzing the success of various recruitment strategies. By supporting the admissions process and contributing to student outreach efforts, the Academic Coordinator plays an essential role in enhancing the university’s enrollment success and advancing its overall mission.
