Position Summary

The General Manager in Gift Accounting/Processing leads a team responsible for accurately tracking, processing, and accounting for contributions to the university. This role ensures that all donations of money or property are recorded in compliance with university policies and financial regulations, providing a critical foundation for successful fundraising and donor stewardship. The manager works to maintain the integrity of financial records while enhancing processes that support the advancement function, contributing to broader alumni relations and engagement initiatives. As a Level 2 Manager, the General Manager is accountable for team performance, implementing strategies to optimize operations within the gift accounting/processing unit. This includes overseeing day-to-day activities, managing staff, and setting departmental goals aligned with the university’s advancement priorities. By fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration, the manager plays a vital role in enabling effective donor engagement and supporting the institution's philanthropic success.
