Annual Giving/Digital Giving secures annual gift donations to the university. Duties may include identifying, acquiring, and prioritizing donor prospects. Solicits donors through multiple channels including mail, email, crowdfunding, and telephone. Works with a portfolio of assigned donor prospects to establish, cultivate, and solicit ongoing relationships.

Position Summary

The Development Supervisor for Annual Giving/Digital Giving is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the annual and digital giving programs, ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and effectively. This includes supervising a team of professionals who manage donor outreach through various channels such as direct mail, email, crowdfunding, and telephone campaigns. The Supervisor ensures that the team meets its goals, coordinates tasks, and provides the necessary support to ensure the timely execution of campaigns and initiatives aimed at securing annual gifts for the university. As part of the role, the Development Supervisor actively monitors the performance of fundraising efforts, tracks progress toward goals, and ensures that all activities align with the university’s fundraising objectives. This position is responsible for guiding the team in donor engagement strategies, providing training and resources, and ensuring that each member of the team is equipped to interact with donors effectively. The Supervisor will also assist in the identification and prioritization of donor prospects, ensuring that each donor is properly cultivated and solicited for ongoing contributions to the university’s annual giving programs. The Development Supervisor plays a key role in fostering a productive and collaborative team environment, focusing on optimizing workflows and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently. Additionally, the Supervisor helps maintain a high level of donor stewardship by ensuring timely and personalized follow-up with donors and providing regular updates on campaign success. By leading a team of dedicated professionals, the Supervisor contributes to the overall success and growth of the university's fundraising initiatives, ensuring long-term financial support for the institution.
