Annual Giving/Digital Giving secures annual gift donations to the university. Duties may include identifying, acquiring, and prioritizing donor prospects. Solicits donors through multiple channels including mail, email, crowdfunding, and telephone. Works with a portfolio of assigned donor prospects to establish, cultivate, and solicit ongoing relationships.

Position Summary

The General Manager for Annual Giving/Digital Giving is responsible for overseeing and leading the university's annual giving and digital fundraising efforts. This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive strategies to secure annual donations through a variety of digital channels, including direct mail, email, crowdfunding, and telephone solicitations. The General Manager will direct a team of fundraising professionals, managing workflows, setting performance goals, and ensuring the team meets the university’s donor engagement and revenue targets. They will also work closely with senior leadership to align annual giving strategies with broader institutional goals. In addition to overseeing the fundraising team, the General Manager plays a key role in building relationships with donors, identifying and prioritizing donor prospects, and implementing effective stewardship plans to maintain and grow ongoing support. The position requires a strong focus on team management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, while ensuring that digital giving strategies are optimized to reach a diverse donor base. The General Manager is accountable for achieving fundraising goals, optimizing donor retention, and ensuring the efficient use of resources to maximize annual and digital giving outcomes.
