Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Nutrition plays a critical role in implementing and supporting nutrition programs aimed at enhancing the health and performance of student-athletes. This intermediate-level position involves collaborating with coaches, athletic operations staff, and sports medicine professionals to develop and deliver dietary plans based on research-backed strategies. The coordinator ensures athletes are educated on proper nutrition, assists in creating tailored meal plans, and monitors adherence to program guidelines to achieve optimal results. In addition to providing nutrition guidance, the General Coordinator is responsible for administrative and operational support, such as tracking inventory, maintaining equipment, and coordinating schedules for meal services and educational sessions. With some experience and training, the coordinator works both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth execution of nutrition initiatives. This role contributes significantly to the overall success of the athletic program by promoting the well-being and peak performance of student-athletes.
