Prospect Recruitment is the process through which college coaches increase their roster of prospective student athletes each off-season.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Prospect Recruitment plays a key role in supporting athletic programs by managing recruitment processes to identify and engage prospective student-athletes. In this intermediate-level role, the coordinator collaborates with coaches, recruitment teams, and athletic staff to assess the qualifications of prospective athletes, organize recruitment activities, and maintain compliance with NCAA regulations and university policies. With a balance of administrative tasks and strategic involvement, the position helps ensure the successful execution of recruitment plans. This role involves coordinating communication between prospective athletes and coaching staff, tracking recruitment efforts through detailed record-keeping, and assisting in hosting recruitment events. The General Coordinator also contributes to the evaluation of recruitment strategies, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the university’s ability to attract talented student-athletes. Leveraging their experience and education, the coordinator works as part of a team to provide essential support to the recruitment pipeline while ensuring a smooth, effective process.
