Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator within Strategic Planning plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives, contributing to its growth and sustainability. Operating within the Business Operations and Administration framework, this position is responsible for assisting with the strategic planning, analysis, and ongoing operations of colleges and units. The Senior General Coordinator provides reporting and analytics support to inform the strategic decision-making process, offering insights into business operations. Additionally, the role involves project management support to help execute the strategic plan and ensure its successful implementation. In the area of Strategic Planning, the Senior General Coordinator helps facilitate the identification and implementation of strategic investments in services, equipment, facilities, and human capital. This position ensures that the organization’s strategy is communicated effectively across teams and that all efforts align with the broader institutional mission. As a Senior-level individual contributor, this position requires a combination of experience, education, and the ability to act independently while providing guidance to others. The Senior General Coordinator may be called upon to provide some team leadership, coordinating efforts across departments and ensuring that strategic initiatives are completed on time and to a high standard. This role requires the individual to manage a higher level of complexity, exercising autonomy in decision-making while supporting the execution of critical programs and processes that contribute to the organization’s overall success.
