Position Summary

The General Consultant within Strategic Planning is a key individual contributor role responsible for driving the strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainability. Operating within the framework of Business Operations and Administration, this position plays a crucial role in strategic planning, analysis, and overseeing the ongoing operations of colleges and units. The General Consultant provides critical reporting and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and offers project management support to ensure the effective execution of the strategic plan. In the realm of Strategic Planning, the consultant contributes to identifying and recommending investments in areas such as services, equipment, facilities, and human capital, all aimed at advancing the institution’s mission and long-term goals. The role involves supporting senior leadership in shaping, communicating, and implementing the organization's strategic vision. As an advanced-level individual contributor, the General Consultant acts independently, leveraging a high level of experience and education. This position also includes providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding them in their efforts to execute strategic initiatives. The General Consultant may influence or coordinate the work of others, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a combination of expertise, autonomy, and the ability to manage complex tasks while ensuring that strategic projects are completed successfully.
