Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator in Faculty Support plays a key role in advancing the effectiveness and success of faculty by coordinating a wide range of administrative functions, resources, and initiatives. Positioned within the Faculty Administration unit, this role supports essential academic processes that enhance teaching, research, and service. The coordinator works closely with faculty, academic leaders, and support staff to ensure the timely delivery of resources and infrastructure, contributing to an environment that fosters instructional quality, professional development, and student success. As part of the General Administration job family, the Senior General Coordinator independently manages complex projects and ongoing operations that support faculty needs. This includes coordinating access to training, instructional technology, facilities, and funding resources, as well as supporting faculty onboarding, development programs, and performance review processes. The role may also be responsible for managing internal communications, creating procedural documentation, and collaborating with other administrative offices to resolve issues and ensure compliance with institutional policies and standards. At the C3 level, this senior individual contributor acts as a subject matter expert within their area, offering guidance to peers and serving as a key point of contact for faculty-related coordination efforts. The Senior General Coordinator operates with a high degree of autonomy, frequently leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Through proactive planning, collaborative engagement, and administrative expertise, this position ensures faculty are well-supported in fulfilling their academic mission.
