Plans and delivers faculty development in response to faculty and institutional needs in a variety of formats including individual coaching, seminars, and workshops on the effective use of technology

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst within Educational Technology plays a key role in leading the development, implementation, and enhancement of technology solutions for teaching and learning. This position requires a deep understanding of educational technology trends and the ability to analyze and recommend solutions that align with institutional goals. The Senior Analyst works independently to assess the needs of faculty and academic staff, gather requirements, and ensure the successful adoption and integration of technology into the curriculum. Additionally, they oversee the evaluation of existing systems and propose enhancements to improve functionality and user experience. As an experienced individual contributor, the Senior Analyst provides leadership in the design, delivery, and evaluation of faculty development programs, including workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions. They support faculty in effectively incorporating technology into their teaching methods by identifying training needs, developing resources, and ensuring that staff are well-equipped to use technology tools effectively. This position also includes mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff or analysts, helping to ensure the success of the educational technology initiatives across the institution. The Senior Analyst is expected to take ownership of large-scale projects and manage them from initiation to completion, ensuring that they meet both technical and educational objectives. The Senior Analyst is responsible for assessing the overall effectiveness of educational technology programs by analyzing user feedback and usage data. They are integral to improving the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that enhance teaching and learning. By collaborating with faculty, instructional designers, and senior leadership, the Senior Analyst helps shape strategic decisions about educational technology use, recommending new tools or system upgrades to further support educational objectives. This position requires a high level of expertise, independence, and leadership, and directly contributes to the university’s commitment to innovation in education.
