Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator within Audit Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing the coordination and execution of internal audit programs, ensuring the organization’s financial, operational, and managerial processes comply with applicable regulations, laws, policies, and standards. This position involves independent work in supporting audit teams through the development, planning, and evaluation of audit activities. The Senior General Coordinator will oversee complex tasks related to audits, including gathering and analyzing audit data, reviewing systems and processes, and preparing detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations. In addition to contributing to the execution of audit plans, the Senior General Coordinator will mentor and guide junior team members, assisting in their professional development and ensuring audit tasks are completed effectively. They will work closely with department heads and stakeholders to identify risks, recommend process improvements, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions following audits. The Senior General Coordinator is expected to manage multiple audits simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and compliance with internal and external standards. The role also involves managing audit-related documentation, ensuring all records are meticulously organized and updated. As an individual contributor, the Senior General Coordinator will have a significant level of autonomy and responsibility, with the authority to make decisions within the scope of their duties. They will act as a liaison between audit teams, management, and legal/compliance departments, contributing to fostering a culture of compliance and integrity. This position requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to lead audits, influence decision-making processes, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
