Audit Services develops, plans, and evaluates internal audit programs for the organizations financial, operational, and managerial processes and systems to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, policies and standards. Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement.

Position Summary

The General Consultant within Audit Services is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic input on the organization’s internal audit programs. This position is tasked with evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of financial, operational, and managerial processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, policies, and standards. The consultant plays a critical role in identifying risks, advising on mitigation strategies, and recommending improvements to enhance internal controls, audit processes, and overall organizational efficiency. This requires an advanced understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory frameworks to assess complex systems and deliver actionable insights. In addition to executing audits, the General Consultant serves as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on audit execution, risk assessment, and reporting. They act as an expert advisor on high-priority projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making and support the development of audit plans. The consultant also leads the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports to senior leadership, highlighting key audit findings, compliance gaps, and recommended actions to strengthen the organization’s internal controls and risk management strategies. The General Consultant is expected to work independently with minimal supervision while providing leadership on complex audit assignments. This position requires advanced problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of audit practices, legal and compliance requirements, and organizational risk management. As a trusted advisor, the General Consultant ensures the successful execution of audit objectives, drives continuous improvement in audit services, and contributes to fostering a culture of compliance, integrity, and accountability within the organization.
