Compliance Services ensures the universitys compliance with regulatory and quality standards and fosters a culture of integrity. Works with colleges and units to develop and implement internal controls, processes, and programs that access and enhance compliance. May engage with regulatory commissions and authorities or advance university positions with external and internal stakeholders.

Individual contributors may: Coordinate, influence, or review the work of others. Be the authority on a given program or process. Lead teams. A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator within Compliance Services plays an essential role in supporting the university’s compliance initiatives and ensuring that it meets regulatory and quality standards. This position collaborates with various university departments and units to develop and implement internal controls, processes, and compliance programs that align with legal and regulatory requirements. The General Coordinator helps foster a culture of integrity within the university, ensuring that all operations comply with applicable regulations and organizational policies. In this intermediate-level position, the General Coordinator works closely with the compliance team to execute and monitor compliance-related activities across the university. This includes assisting with audits, coordinating the collection of relevant compliance data, and reviewing departmental procedures to ensure alignment with internal and external standards. The position also involves supporting the communication and training of university staff on compliance policies, helping to raise awareness and adherence to university regulations and industry standards. The General Coordinator may also help in preparing reports and presenting findings to compliance leaders and regulatory bodies. The General Coordinator is an individual contributor, working within a team to achieve the university’s compliance goals. While the role involves a high level of collaboration, it also requires independent decision-making within established guidelines and processes. The position is not expected to work independently but requires the individual to assist in coordinating and influencing compliance strategies across various departments. With a growing understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, the General Coordinator will gain valuable experience in compliance management and be prepared to take on greater responsibilities in the future.
