Compliance Services ensures the universitys compliance with regulatory and quality standards and fosters a culture of integrity. Works with colleges and units to develop and implement internal controls, processes, and programs that access and enhance compliance. May engage with regulatory commissions and authorities or advance university positions with external and internal stakeholders.

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst within Compliance Services supports the university’s mission by promoting ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and internal accountability across all areas of operation. This role independently performs complex analysis to evaluate adherence to legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, and partners with academic and administrative units to develop sustainable compliance practices. The analyst identifies risk areas, monitors controls, and contributes to the development and implementation of compliance programs that foster a culture of integrity. This position serves as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, advising departments on how to align operations with federal, state, and university guidelines. The analyst designs and administers internal audits and assessments, develops training materials, and assists in preparing documentation and responses for internal and external reviews. They also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proactive issue identification, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions when needed. Acting both independently and as a collaborative team member, the Senior Analyst supports institutional initiatives, engages with regulatory agencies when appropriate, and contributes to strategic compliance planning. With a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and higher education operations, this position plays a key role in maintaining the university’s reputation and ensuring continued operational excellence.
