Civil Rights and Accessibility provides consultation to faculty, staff, and students on matters relating to the universitys policies prohibiting discrimination and harassment. Responsible for determining reasonable accommodations in university programs and coordinating accommodations services like note taking, alternate text requests, and furniture coordination.

Position Summary

The Analyst within Civil Rights and Accessibility plays an essential role in supporting the university’s commitment to diversity, Civil Rights, and inclusion. This position assists in the coordination and implementation of programs and services that promote equal access and prevent discrimination in alignment with university policies and applicable laws. Working under the guidance of more senior staff, the analyst contributes to the delivery of reasonable accommodations for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring that university environments and experiences are accessible to all. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing accommodation requests, coordinating support services such as note-taking assistance and accessible course materials, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with involved stakeholders. The analyst gathers relevant documentation, maintains detailed case records, and provides general guidance on accessibility-related inquiries. They may also support training sessions or awareness campaigns on Civil Rights, inclusion, and accessibility practices. As a member of the Legal and Compliance function, the Analyst helps uphold institutional values of fairness and non-discrimination. This role requires attention to detail, empathy, and a foundational understanding of disability services and Civil Rights policies. The analyst works collaboratively with internal teams and partners across campus to contribute to an inclusive and compliant academic and work environment.
