Position Summary

The Senior Academic Coordinator in Program Management plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs that align with the university’s strategic and educational mission. This position serves as a subject matter expert for assigned programs, independently managing complex initiatives and ensuring alignment with institutional goals, academic policies, and accreditation standards. The Senior Academic Coordinator contributes to long-term program success through the development of processes, resource coordination, and proactive problem-solving, with a strong focus on supporting faculty, students, and academic leadership. As a senior-level individual contributor, this role requires a high level of autonomy and professional expertise in coordinating academic program operations. Responsibilities include leading program planning efforts, managing timelines and deliverables, evaluating program effectiveness, contributing to policy development, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The Senior Academic Coordinator often collaborates with cross-functional teams, facilitates stakeholder engagement, and may lead or mentor junior staff or project teams to ensure seamless execution of program objectives. With substantial experience in academic administration, the Senior Academic Coordinator operates with minimal supervision and is trusted to make informed decisions that impact program outcomes and student success. The role demands excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex academic environments.
