Deliver the programs, services, facilities and administrative functions that facilitate the co-curricular environment of a college or university and enhance the educational experiences of its students toward their self-exploration, learning and development.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Academic Coordinator within Student Affairs plays a crucial role in the management and delivery of student services designed to enhance students' academic and personal growth. The position requires the coordination and facilitation of various student services, such as academic advising, student engagement, and learning support. The Academic Coordinator works closely with other departments within Student Affairs to help students access resources that foster their academic success and personal development, ensuring students have the tools and guidance they need to navigate their college experience successfully. In this role, the Academic Coordinator is responsible for working with students to assess their needs, providing information, and facilitating services that support their academic journey. This includes assisting students in identifying and utilizing available resources, coordinating events or workshops that promote student development, and advising on academic planning and decision-making. The Academic Coordinator works alongside other staff to ensure that students are connected with the right resources and support systems, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals. As an individual contributor, the Academic Coordinator plays an integral part in implementing strategies and programs within Student Affairs. While the role involves some degree of independent decision-making, it also requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and various departments to ensure cohesive student services. The position demands a strong understanding of student needs, program management, and an ability to influence others positively, all while ensuring that the services provided align with the university’s broader goals for student success and well-being.
